Say hello to Sasha!! Sasha is a Japanese Shiba Inu, Tim wanted a dog of his own (something somewhat less hairy than an Afghan Hound!!) and he had fallen in love with this breed after seeing some at a show and even more so when he researched them to see what they were like to live with. One day while reading the Shiba4U list there was information posted about a girl who at 9yrs old was facing a winter in breed rescue kennels. A marriage break up had left Sasha homeless and after 6 months no one had picked her, winter was coming and Sasha had been a house dog all her life so the rescue officer had put out another plea for a home for her. Tim and I talked about it and realised that Sasha had to come and live with Tim, so on 2nd of November Sasha came home. She is an absolute sweetheart and we are looking forward to many many years with her. |
