This is our Callie. Sadly we lost her on the 2nd of February 2003, at just 10 years old. She was a stubborn fighter to the end but there of course comes the time when we have to do whats best for them and let them go with some dignity. She fell asleep for the last time in her favourite chair with her family around her and is now with the others at the Rainbow Bridge awaiting me.

Sleep well my precious, stubborn little girl, you take with you a piece of my heart, and leave behind a space that will never be filled. I love you.

She was always the smallest of the gang but thought herself completely in charge!!! We never showed her much due to an accident she had when she was a puppy. After her recovery we took her to a couple of shows, on each of these few times we attempted it she handled the situation in true Afghan style and put the brakes on. Proving unequivocally that running around a ring with a bunch of strange dogs was completely beneath her, smart one our Callie.
